Regulatory News

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he will issue new executive orders to reduce the weight of taxes and regulation in the U.S. economy. One of the measures requires the Treasury to review all regulatory taxes issued last year. The objective is to check whether excessive tax costs have been created or if the tax code is more complexity than it should be.

Another executive order seeks to evaluate the powers of the Stability Monitoring Board, which includes the chairpersons of the Federal Reserve (FED) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
